Getting ready

Devices, to bring

A short checklist so every team arrives ready. The expo hall runs the whole day — power and internet are shared, so come prepared to be self-sufficient.

Every team must bring

One kit per team, labelled with your project number.

Laptop or tablet

Your live demo already open, updated and tested. If the venue internet is slow, load your project so it can work offline.

Charger for every device

Multi-plug if several devices. Batteries get drained fast during a full day of judging.

USB pen drive (backup)

A copy of your demo, video and files, in case the laptop misbehaves a minute before you present.

Mobile phone

Camera for photos and a spare screen for your web project. Keep it charged and on silent during your talk.

For live working models

Only if your project has a hardware part.

Batteries or power bank

Sensors, motors and screens all need power. A power bank is the safest single item to pack.

Your kit and tools

Breadboard, jumper wires, small screwdriver and any spare sensor you rely on.

Data / hotspot plan

Some school networks block sites. A hotspot keeps your cloud demo reachable at your slot.

Good to have

Small things that save the day.

Notebook and pen

Notes from judges, your speech cue cards, and a last-minute plan B.

Printed speech

Paper copy of your 30-second script, so a dead laptop never silences you.

Your project QR printed

Print the QR sheet from the admin panel so visitors can open your project without typing.

  • Label every device with your project name and number.
  • Charge everything the night before the expo.
  • Arrive 20 minutes early — set up before your slot.
  • Pack everything back into one bag: one team, one bag.
